If you haven't done it yet... you probably will.

There comes a moment on almost every cruise when you're absolutely convinced you've reached your cabin.

You tap your key card.

Nothing.

You tap it again.

Still nothing.

Maybe the battery is dead?

Maybe the lock is broken?

You look around, slightly confused, before realizing...

You're standing one deck too high.

Or one hallway over.

Or, somehow, at someone else's cabin entirely.

Cruise ships have a funny way of making every corridor look exactly the same.

After a few days, your feet start walking on autopilot while your brain is busy thinking about dinner, tomorrow's port, or whether you really need another slice of pizza.

The good news?

You're in excellent company.

Even experienced cruisers occasionally find themselves staring at the wrong cabin door wondering why their key suddenly stopped working.

One trick many cruisers use is decorating their cabin door with magnets, a small whiteboard, or a personalized sign. Not only does it add a little personality, but it also makes spotting your cabin much easier after a long day exploring the ship.

Have a great week!
